October 31, 2007 - More than 70 Buddhist monks in Pakokku town
in central Burma today once again took to the streets in a peaceful
protest march, a local monk said.
Oltre 70 monaci manifestano pacificamente nelle vie di Pakokku, nella Birmania Centrale.
Molto coraggiosi questi monaci a sfidare i militari che stroncano ogni movimento a loro contrario col sangue.
Secondo altre agenzie i monaci sarebbero più di 200.

Burma’s Magwe Division marched in a peaceful demonstration through the
town on Wednesday morning. The monks paraded through the streets
chanting the “Metta Sutta”
... i monaci sfilano tra le vie della città recitando preghiere.
E' chiaro che la repressione dei militari continua e vi sono tantissime notizie di violenze o arresti in merito.
